Day 2 of Fashion Week started off with all the socialites being present. A lot of them were wearing western clothes today and were all ready to be dazzled by Shehla Chatoor, Kuki Concepts, Tayyab Bombal, Ayesha and Somaiya, NEXT and Umar Sayeed.
Shehla Chatoor presented her sexy dazzling sparkling collection, “Spring Equinox”. She used a wide range of jumpsuits, tunics and trendy lehengas to her fashion show.
Kuki Concepts showcased a whole collection of Mughal inspired outfits. The whole fashion show was providing a grand majestic royal ambiance with lovely embroidered work done on luxurious lehengas, shararas, tunics and A-line frocks paired with pajamas for women using Banarsi fabric. Similarly, the men were wearing sherwani’s, long shirts and shalwars, and traditional dhoti kurta.
Tayyab Bombal started his collection by showcasing retro and classic outfits of 70's, 80's style and labeled his collection, “My Past Is My Future”. The collection was a tribute to the old trends and the old designers who have revolutionized the fashion industry.
Ayesha & Somaiya used shades of pink making use of apricot pink, rose, peach, deep carmine, and salmon pink in their bold and spunky cocktail dresses. They had labeled their show, “Pink Camouflage”, inspired from the colour pink, which is the universal color for love. The attires were full of flirty cuts and styles while giving a modernistic look.
Umar Sayeed showcased his collection of formal range of lehengas, sharara, maxi frocks, A-line shirts & churidar pajamas and long shirts with trousers. All the clothes were designed beautifully and had contrasting colour tones like shocking pink and black. There were also vivid blends of bright colors like scarlet red, yellow, blue, lavender, and champagne.
NEXT added a lot of charm to the show with their pretty checked shirts, peppy trousers, printed tops and jumpsuits for women and spunky casual men’s collection. The outfits were all meant for high street fashion and for fashion lovers who love new trends. They showcased a wide, wide range of men, women and kids’ wear.
